Technology Helps and Hurts the Environment

Last week, technology writer and Pulitzer Prize finalist Nicholas Carr came to Roger Williams University and spoke about the impact technology has on peoples ability to think critically. To significantly simply his argument, he believes that our having access to nearly infinite amounts of information via the internet is not a good thing. We can find this information more quickly, but we lose our ability to remember it, interpret it, and use it in meaningful ways.
