Tesla Model S: Dream Car for Consumer and Environment

The Tesla Model S is a luxury electric vehicle that was released in 2012 by the newest American car company: Tesla Motors. Tesla Motors is based in Silicon Valley where they produce only 100% electric vehicles in a factory so big they provide bicycles for their employees to get around. The Model S can be bought for $71,070 or it can be leased for three years at $777/month with a down payment of $6,477. When taking into account savings on gas and government rebates, other vehicles in this price range simply cannot compete.
With a perfect safety rating, a range of up to 270 miles per charge, and acceleration from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 3.2 seconds without hesitation, it is no wonder that the Model S is the Consumer Reports’ top-scoring car ever.
