Solar and Wind Just Passed Another Big Turning Point – Bloomberg

This is big news for producers who relying more and more on alternatives for their energy production, the above article proves its finally time producers diversify their sources. It is plain economic sense, where companies have just CAPEX to invest and hardly any operating expenses to produce the electricity. Hopefully this will also lead to saving for consumers, as companies should think of passing on some of the savings. Obviously producers are in the market to generate revenue, but their should be a good balance for both.

Countries in Europe have been providing subsidiaries to producers of wind energy, but that has effectively stopped due to economic pressures. Maybe states in the US can also look at similar initiatives, where such subsidiaries and rebates could be passed on to builders of such electricity generators.
