It was 3am when we hit the road for our Grand Circle of the Southwest. The plan was 10 National Parks in nine days in four states with a dog, a photographer, and a whole SUV full of gear. The temps would range from the low 20’s to a possible high in the mid-70’s. There would be rain, clouds, sunshine, mud, puddles, and a whole lot in between. We were prepared for all of it, or at least we tried to be.

Heading East out of LA one of our first stops was in the San Gorgonio Wind Farm to catch he first of many sunrises to come. Located on the Eastern slop of San Gorgonio.
