            Greenhouse gas emissions predominately consist of Carbon Dioxide (CO2). Although there are natural emissions of CO2, the rate at which man made CO2 is emitted is alarming for the environment. The burning of fossil fuels to provide electricity, transportation, and other industrial needs for humans is one of global warming’s highest contributing factors. There needs to be a sustainable change for more efficient energy at a lower environmental cost.

Windmills have been a symbol for the Dutch since before the 13th century. They used to be responsible for draining water systems (thereby preventing floods) as well as in food production and building industries. Fast forward 8 centuries…
